Yoga Class Descriptions
Living Yoga – Discover the ancient philosophies and practices of yoga, mindfulness and metta (loving kindness) as you practice asana, breathing, relaxation and meditation. Transform every day living into enlightened living. Living yoga brings clarity to your mind, compassion to your heart and wisdom to your actions.
Nurture Restorative Yoga – Practice as though you are treating yourself to pure indulgence, center yourself physically and mentally, release deeply. Restorative Yoga is an amazing healing tool in times of stress or illness, to balance physical activity and to create calm in everyday life.
Good Morning, Yoga! – Enjoy this early morning class to wake your body, settle your mind and find your breath. This all levels class consists of a flowing practice to build strength, balance and flexibility.
Baby and Me – Make time to bond with your baby while taking time for yourself! Gentle exercises and relaxation practiced together/alongside baby. Prerequisites: Moms 6 weeks postpartum/Babies 6 weeks through crawling. It’s a fun and relaxing time to celebrate, move, stretch, strengthen and sing with your baby.
Prenatal – Gentle postures combined with breath work and relaxation designed especially for mothers in their 2nd and 3rd trimester. Note: Check with physician before starting classes.
Weekend Warrior for Teens (9-12yrs) – This 60min. class will feature active yoga, upbeat music, yoga games & creative activities to develop strength, flexibility, coordination, balance. Students will explore their outer strength and inner peace in a safe and non-judgmental space.
